Effect of temperature on thermophysical properties of chlorobenzene + linear aliphatic alkanes (C6–C8)

gpch20_v051_i03_cover

This article reports experimental values of speeds of sound, densities and refractive indices of mixing of the binary mixtures chlorobenzene (hexane, heptane, octane) at 288.15K and 308.15K and atmospheric condition. The corresponding derived properties were computed from the experimental data. Parameters of analytical expressions which represent the composition dependences of the derived properties are reported. Values of physical properties were compared with the results obtained by different prediction methods. The effect of temperature on the mixing is analysed in terms of the relative length of the alkyl chain.
